County Poverty Rates Down Slightly

Over the course of a year, the number of Chautauqua County residents living without health insurance has increased, while poverty rates have declined slightly.
A comparison of data from 2012-13 released by the U.S. Census Bureau revealed 10.

RANDOLPH - Erik Johnson recorded the winning goal at 31:13 to give Southwestern (7-1-1) a 3-2 nonleague boys soccer victory over Randolph (5-3-1) on Saturday.
Johnson's goal from Esteban Diaz gave Southwestern a 3-1 lead.

Jamestown police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who attempted to rob a Jamestown Rite Aid on Sunday morning.
At around 7:20 a.m., the JPD says a white male entered the store and attempted to climb over the pharmacy counter.
